1

Basic fits open-area work

Rural real estate, open-field agricultural scouting, environmental monitoring, and construction progress flights can fit Basic when the mission remains in uncontrolled airspace and away from people.

2

Advanced is the commercial workhorse

Urban real estate, rooftop inspection, bridge documentation, utility corridor patrols, film sets, and insurance claim flights often need Advanced privileges plus proper aircraft declarations and airspace authorization.

3

Level 1 Complex is for program builders

Lower-risk BVLOS work for utility corridors, remote land management, industrial sites, and repeatable enterprise programs requires Level 1 Complex pilot training and an RPOC-backed operator system.

Enterprise pathway

RPOC support for lower-risk BVLOS programs

Organizations conducting Level 1 Complex operations need an RPAS Operator Certificate. SkyFlow can support operator-side planning, procedure development, training structures, and safety workflows for teams that want a repeatable drone program rather than a one-off licence.

Discuss operator support
RPOC declaration guidance
Operational manual support
Crew-role and records workflows
Mission-class risk analysis
Lower-risk BVLOS readiness
SFOC boundary awareness

Professional modules

Specializations for application drone work after the licence

These school-issued modules help pilots translate a drone licence into field-ready workflows. They are training add-ons, not government certificates, and they do not replace mission-specific approvals, professional licensure, product labels, or provincial requirements.

Content Creation with Drones

$80

A practical 2-3 hour module for media operators covering legality checks, shot lists, crowd-risk planning, client briefing, camera settings, movement vocabulary, and file delivery.

Survey and Mapping Fundamentals

Structure Inspection Fundamentals

$450

A one-day applied module for roofs, facades, towers, stacks, agricultural structures, and industrial assets using repeatable checklist capture and client report packaging.

Agriculture Mission Fundamentals

$450

A field-operations module for scouting, application-system awareness, vegetation index basics, route and battery planning, weather and drift awareness, job documentation, and client handoff.

Public Safety Mission Systems

Quote

A scoped agency or enterprise engagement covering mission-class analysis, scene controls, crew roles, deconfliction, media handling, privacy, records, and after-action review structures.

Compliance note: SkyFlow prepares pilots and issues school completion records for specialization modules. Transport Canada issues Basic, Advanced, and Level 1 Complex pilot certificates. Government exam fees, certificate applications, airspace authorizations, manufacturer declarations, insurance, SFOCs, RPOCs, pesticide rules, survey law, and professional credentials are separate unless explicitly included.
