The DJI AGRAS T50 4-Nozzle Orchard Package, often listed as the Four Sprinkler Kit (Optional) or an atomized sprinkler upgrade, is designed for orchard and tree crop operations where canopy structure, leaf density, and coverage consistency demand more controlled atomization and higher flow capacity. This package upgrades the T50 from the standard two-sprinkler configuration to a four-sprinkler spraying setup, enabling higher-volume application while maintaining DJI’s atomized droplet control and operational workflow.
Four-nozzle configuration, higher flow for canopy work
DJI specifies the T50’s spraying system max flow as 16 L/min with 2 sprinklers, and 24 L/min with 4 sprinklers, making the 4-nozzle configuration the preferred choice when you need higher throughput or higher-volume work typical of orchard and tree crop passes.
Atomized droplet control, adjustable 50–500 μm
For orchard coverage, droplet management is often as important as tank capacity. DJI lists a droplet size range of 50–500 μm for the T50 dual atomizing spraying system, and DJI support notes the droplet size can be customized or selected from multiple preset levels. This helps operators tune coverage behavior for canopy density and target surfaces.
Coverage fundamentals, spray width spec reference
DJI lists the T50 effective spray width as 4–11 m when flying at 3 m above crops. Actual orchard setups vary by canopy architecture and operating parameters, but this spec is a useful benchmark for route planning and pass count estimation when configuring four-nozzle workflows.
Why orchard teams choose the 4-nozzle package
- Higher max flow, supports faster coverage in time-sensitive orchard windows.
- Better fit for canopy-style operations, where uniform distribution and droplet tuning are key decision factors.
- Works within the DJI AGRAS T50 spraying system spec, rather than relying on improvised modifications.
