DJI Lito X1 combines a 1/1.3-inch camera, 4K video, subject tracking, omnidirectional vision, and forward LiDAR in an aircraft that weighs approximately 249 g with the standard battery.
It is small enough for a travel bag but does not stop at basic flight. Shoot 10-bit D-Log M, 4K/100 slow motion, DNG photos, and 2.7K vertical video. Choose RC-N3 to use your phone or RC 2 for a controller with its own screen.

The 24 mm equivalent f/1.7 lens is wide enough for landscapes and close enough for people-centred travel footage. Use 4K/60 HDR for everyday motion, 4K/100 for slow motion, D-Log M for colour work, and DNG when you want more room to edit a still.
The camera and flight system stay the same. The difference is how quickly you want to start and whether your phone should be part of the kit.
Mount a compatible phone and run DJI Fly on the phone. It is the lower-cost control path and a good fit when the phone screen and battery are already part of your routine.
DJI Fly runs on the controller and the 5.5-inch screen is ready when the aircraft is. Your phone stays free for calls, shot lists, weather, maps, and client communication.
Omnidirectional monocular vision, forward LiDAR, and bottom infrared sensing help the aircraft brake or route around supported obstacles. Route-memory return-to-home can retrace a suitable path when satellite positioning is weak.
Small wires, branches, water, glass, crowds, moving obstacles, and poor light can defeat sensing. Sport mode disables it.
Start in DJI Simulator, then practise orientation, braking, manual return, and return-to-home in an open location. Set one dependable 4K/60 profile, learn exposure compensation, and build a simple transfer and backup routine before adding advanced tracking or D-Log M.
Five are everyday creator jobs. Five use the aircraft in less obvious ways while staying clear about where a consumer camera drone stops.
Pack it for road trips, shoreline views, hiking, and establishing shots without dedicating a large bag to the aircraft.
Use controlled QuickShots and tracking for reunions, celebrations, camping, and outdoor milestones.
Build follow, side, and orbit shots in open locations while keeping the controller and flight path under direct supervision.
Record 4K horizontal footage, 2.7K vertical video, and transfer files quickly for same-day social delivery.
Capture location overviews for real estate, cottages, accommodations, and local businesses.
Route-memory return-to-home can retrace a supported, well-lit path when GNSS is weak. It needs a clear 2 × 2 m area, textured surfaces, sufficient light, and a route below 30 m.
Record repeatable overhead, sideline, and orbit views for field, court, equestrian, or action-sport coaching where the site and airspace permit.
Record visible roof, solar-panel, gutter, or exterior condition from a safe standoff. Use enterprise inspection tools when measurements or formal reporting are required.
Document event setup, changing light, controlled construction activity, or a fixed landscape from a planned legal position.
Repeat broad views of a garden, shoreline, trail, property, or outdoor installation and cut them into a month-by-month story.
Move the job to SkyFlow’s enterprise or agriculture team for the right aircraft, payload, workflow, and operating plan.
These supplied DJI Lito X1 samples show landscape detail, changing light, roads, vehicles, coastline, and people at web resolution.
Choose phone or built-in screen, the number of batteries, and whether the aircraft needs to remain in its standard approximately 249 g configuration.

The larger battery gives more working time, but the aircraft no longer sits in the same weight category. Choose endurance only when the operating plan supports it.
Power and charging affect every shoot. Add guards for a specific close-range practice need, not as a default decoration.

View propeller guardYes. It combines stable flight, DJI Simulator, omnidirectional vision, forward LiDAR, automatic shots, and route-memory return-to-home with a camera you will not immediately outgrow. The safety systems assist the pilot; they do not replace learning the controls or checking the flight area.
RC-N3 uses a compatible phone for the DJI Fly screen. RC 2 has its own 5.5-inch display, so setup is faster and your phone remains free. Flight and camera capability are otherwise built around the same aircraft.
Choose the standard battery when the approximately 249 g configuration matters. Choose Battery Plus for longer sessions: its rated maximum is 52 minutes and its typical recording workflow is about 37 minutes, but the aircraft weighs more than 249 g and Canadian requirements change.
DJI rates the standard battery for up to 36 minutes in controlled forward flight and about 23 minutes in a typical recording workflow. Battery Plus is rated for up to 52 minutes and about 37 minutes in the typical workflow. Wind, temperature, speed, tracking, and the return reserve reduce usable time.
It records vertical video up to 2.7K/60. The gimbal does not mechanically rotate into portrait orientation like the Mini 5 Pro, so choose Mini 5 Pro when maximum vertical-video resolution and composition flexibility are priorities.
No. Use 48 MP in good light when extra crop room is useful. In difficult light, the lower-resolution photo mode can produce a cleaner file. DNG gives more editing control, and reducing exposure by about one-third to two-thirds of a stop can protect bright skies.
No. Small wires and branches, water, glass, reflective or textureless surfaces, moving obstacles, crowds, and very dark or extremely bright scenes can defeat sensing. Obstacle sensing is disabled in Sport mode.
No. Lito X1 is controlled through DJI RC-N3 with a phone or DJI RC 2. ActiveTrack follows a selected subject, but the pilot must keep the controller, monitor the aircraft, and remain responsible for the flight.
The standard aircraft is approximately 249 g, but the exact operation still has to comply with Canadian rules. Battery Plus takes it above 249 g, which normally brings registration and pilot-certificate requirements. Airspace, proximity to people, and the type of operation also matter.
