SkyFlow Recon Workstations are purpose-built desktop systems for drone-based digital processing, including orthomosaics, 2D mapping, 3D reconstruction, and LiDAR workflows. Rather than treating reconstruction as an afterthought on a general-purpose gaming PC, SkyFlow Recon systems are configured from the ground up for sustained compute loads, large project storage, and software stability during long processing sessions.
Each system is built around a high-core-count workstation-class configuration, with up to 24 CPU cores and 32 processing threads, paired with NVIDIA RTX graphics ranging from approximately 44 TFLOPS / 706 AI TOPS in the entry tier to approximately 83 TFLOPS / 1321 AI TOPS in the flagship tier. That means faster image alignment, denser point cloud generation, smoother mesh generation, and stronger performance headroom for demanding reconstruction jobs.
The lineup is designed for reliability first. Selected tiers use ECC-capable workstation motherboards and ECC memory configurations, helping reduce the risk of memory-related errors during long reconstruction tasks. All tiers use all-SSD storage layouts for faster project ingestion, cache access, and export performance, with dedicated separation between the operating system drive and active project drives. DJI’s own current guidance for heavy editing and point cloud workflows scales meaningfully with available memory, for example its published RAM guidance for editable point cloud size increases from roughly 30GB original point cloud editable at 64GB available RAM to roughly 60GB at 128GB available RAM, which aligns well with your mid and upper tiers.
Thermals and acoustics are also treated as product features, not afterthoughts. These systems are designed for long-running processing jobs with oversized airflow, premium air cooling, and quiet fan profiles, so users can run reconstruction work for hours without turning their office into a server room. Power delivery is selected with headroom in mind, supporting sustained CPU and GPU workloads more confidently than typical consumer prebuilt systems.
For customers who want a turnkey software-and-hardware package, selected configurations can be bundled with a permanent licensed DJI Terra package, pre-installed and environment-tuned for faster deployment. The result is a workstation that arrives ready to process, not a box of parts that still needs driver cleanup, storage planning, and BIOS tuning before it becomes usable.
SkyFlow Recon Workstations are engineered for professionals who need more than a fast PC. They are built for drone mapping, orthomosaic generation, 3D reconstruction, and LiDAR processing, with a hardware stack optimized for long-duration compute, fast SSD throughput, and stable production use.
With up to 24 cores and 32 threads, NVIDIA RTX graphics up to 83 TFLOPS and 1321 AI TOPS, and large-capacity SSD storage layouts, SkyFlow Recon systems give teams the performance headroom needed for larger missions and denser datasets. Selected tiers add ECC memory support, UPS protection, and conservative reliability-focused system tuning for users who cannot afford interruptions in the middle of a major reconstruction run.
This is not a repurposed gaming tower. It is a dedicated digital processing workstation for aerial data.
SkyFlow Recon Workstations are standalone desktop processing nodes designed for sustained photogrammetry and point cloud workloads. Configurations scale from a midrange RTX class with about 44 TFLOPS shader performance and 706 AI TOPS to a flagship class with about 83 TFLOPS and 1321 AI TOPS, paired with Intel i9-class processors delivering 24 cores / 32 threads.
Key design priorities include:
- high sustained compute throughput for long reconstruction jobs
- all-SSD storage architecture for faster ingest, cache, and export
- ECC-ready platform options for improved stability
- low-noise thermal design for office deployment
- pre-configured Windows and NVIDIA environment for DJI-focused workflows
DJI’s own current recommended floor is substantially lower than these systems, which is why SkyFlow Recon Workstations are positioned for serious production work rather than minimum-entry use.
SkyFlow Recon Workstations are designed to move drone datasets from raw capture to finished output with less delay, less setup friction, and less risk of system instability during long processing runs. Whether you are generating orthomosaics, detailed 3D models, or LiDAR deliverables, these systems are built to keep up with modern aerial workflows.
Every system is configured around:
- high-core-count CPU performance
- RTX acceleration for heavy graphics and compute tasks
- large all-SSD project storage
- quiet cooling for long daily operation
- DJI-focused software tuning
- available permanent DJI Terra bundle options
From small and medium mapping jobs to dense multi-mission reconstruction projects, SkyFlow Recon gives you a cleaner path from field data to deliverable.
