Size production and storage
Estimate rinse litres per job and your refill window. A purification unit’s output is not the same as the instantaneous flow needed by a pressure-washing pump.
Reverse osmosis uses a membrane to separate much of the dissolved mineral load from the water. It can reduce the workload on a final DI stage when producing larger volumes of rinse water.
Illustrative water path; final plumbing and pressure requirements depend on the selected equipment.
RO adds filters, membrane maintenance and a reject-water stream. Production depends on inlet conditions; plan treatment capacity and buffer storage separately from the wash pump’s flow.
SF13 / HoverWash 13 does not include DI or RO. Specify a separate treated-water supply, or integrate purification and storage into a custom NECSS van or trailer build. A heat box is a separate choice and does not purify water.

Allow for source-water supply, the treated-water path and reject-water handling. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s inlet and drain requirements.
Replace pre-filters and service the membrane as specified. Follow the manufacturer’s storage and freeze-protection instructions when the rig is parked.
Monitor treated water and the final DI stage where fitted. Confirm the result on a test panel before committing to a full facade.

For smaller demand or lower-TDS water, a simpler DI setup may fit. DI can also polish RO output.
