Do not charge a battery that is swollen, leaking, smoking or visibly damaged. Do not use damaged charging equipment or modify the battery or charger. Use Autel’s official battery and charging equipment, away from flammable or explosive items.[2]
Read the battery surface label, Battery Safety Operation Guidelines and aircraft safety guidelines before use. A battery that has been dropped, impacted or soaked must not be used.[3]
The specified charging range is +5°C to +45°C. After flight, let the battery cool naturally. If it is above 45°C, temperature protection prevents charging until it drops below 40°C.[4][2]
Follow these steps
Check the battery and charger
Stop if either is damaged. Keep flammable and explosive items away from the charging area.[2][3]
Let the battery reach a suitable temperature
Allow natural cooling after flight; a battery above 45°C cannot charge until it drops below 40°C. Do not bypass temperature protection.[2]
Connect the official charging equipment
Align the charger’s battery charging interface with the notch at the battery’s metal electrode. Connect the plug to 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.[1]
Disconnect after a full charge
Promptly disconnect the charger from the battery and the power supply once charging is complete.[2]
